But will I trust Him?
His voice sounded my name from seemingly afar that I would turn curiously to see,
But will I trust Him?
His peace and joy beamed warmly through human hearts, that hope would awaken too in me,

But will I trust Him?

But will I trust Him?
He has surprised me with blessings for which I never thought to ask, and still others remain unknown to me,
But will I trust Him?
He has uprooted my heart in discontent; my contentment rests now, sown in Him,
But will I trust Him?
His Spirit stirs my soul through words of truth,
But will I trust Him?
He alone has the words of eternal life,
Yes, I will trust Him.
